The last time you were in the Missoula library did you notice the gnome house? All seem to notice this fanciful little world. It draws young and old alike. Each trying to find some new treasure that was not noticed the last time. This so complete little world was created by Mona Frangos. Those that have had the honor of actually meeting this incredible woman are often surprised to find a little package full of creative energy. Mona has been creating her whole life: jewelry, block prints, iron work, wood carving, baskets, fiber art, watercolors and yes even gnome houses. Mona has left in her path an amazing body of work as well as a following of creative people she has mentored or influenced.
